Cannes Film Festival, a Major Hub for Film Professionals

Cannes Film Festival, however, in tandem with the Marché du Film, also serves as a major hub for film professionals: from producers and directors to sales agents and buyers. This year 2018, Fameuz was honored to participate in both, the Cannes Film Festival and the Marché du Film, for the second time. During the full span of the festival, Fameuz developed a broader and stronger connection with the potential webinar tutors from different institutions and countries for the Webinar section of our website. A library of engaging webinars related to a filmmaking, directing and producing will soon be launched on Fameuz.com.

Fameuz interviewed famous filmmakers

During the Festival Fameuz interviewed many distinguished filmmakers including well known director Nina Menkes, after her empowering talk entitled “Sex & Power, The Visual Language of Oppression” presented by the “Voice of A Woman”, in which she talked about the #MeToo Movement, the history of female oppression in the film industry and the path that women must take to fully realize themselves in a film industry. Fameuz also interviewed Perry King, a famous American actor mainly known by Melrose Place and The Day After Tomorrow. This year Mr King brought his directorial debut to Cannes with the black and white western “The Devide”. More interviews were conducted by the CEO and Founder of the platform and all of them are available on the Fameuz official Youtube channel.

Talent management platform Fameuz was glad to become a part of the Number 1 cinematic event in the world once again, as it gave the company a good opportunity to promote our Talent database to well-known professionals of Hollywood such as film directors and producers.
